About the Role and You
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive and dependent upon experience
Start Date: September 2026
As a Prep Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that challenge and support pupils to achieve excellent outcomes. You will create a positive learning environment where children feel valued, motivated and confident to take risks in their learning.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community to ensure that every pupil receives the highest quality educational experience.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
· Planning and delivering engaging, creative and challenging lessons
· Creating a stimulating classroom environment that promotes a love of learning
· Monitoring, assessing and tracking pupil progress effectively
· Providing outstanding pastoral care and support for pupils
· Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all learners
· Working collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development
· Building strong relationships with parents and carers
· Contributing positively to the wider life of the school
What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for an individual who:
· Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
· Has experience teaching within a primary or preparatory school setting
· Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and high expectations
· Has the ability to inspire, motivate and engage young learners
· Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
· Embraces a collaborative and supportive approach to working with colleagues
· Has a genuine passion for education and helping children succeed
