The HSA

The HSA – Home School Association

‘Enriching education, creating lasting memories’

The HSA (Home School Association) does a great job supporting St Martin’s Prep.
The HSA is our parent and teacher association, and they work hard to fundraise and organise events. The money they raise does a lot for the school and hugely benefits the pupils. Together we are building a stronger school for the future.

The HSA runs and supports:

  • Christmas Fair
  • Summer Fair
  • End of Term Celebrations
  • Religious celebrations, such as Eid and Diwali

Many contributions have been made by the HSA, including:

  • Theatre groups visiting the school
  • School bus costs for trips
  • Celebration events
  • St Martin’s Prep Ball
What can you do?

There is no formal joining process to become a member of the HSA. In fact, just by being a parent you are already a member! If you are interested in taking an active role with the HSA, come along to a meeting.

We encourage all families to participate in the HSA. This can mean different things for different families. Mums, Dads, older siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and carers are all welcome to volunteer. Our HSA is family-centred.

Some are very involved attending meetings, helping with planning, and running events. Others lend a hand setting up or tidying up afterwards, while some donate raffle prizes or send in cakes for sales. But the best thing you can do for the HSA is attend the events. Every bit of support is welcomed.
