In the spirit of the current World Cup, Booth's assembly was all about Sport and Peace today! We sang the National Anthem (perhaps better than the footballers we see on TV!) and learnt all about how sport helps us all.

A big well done to all of our fantastic children who enter our Annual Talent Show. From singing and dancing to piano and guitar; magic tricks and jokes to skipping and gymnastics, there was something for everyone. It was difficult to pick a winner, but Maia was voted as the top talent by the Teachers and Elgar pupils who didn’t participate.

We were so proud of our Junior children's performance in our School Swimming Gala! It was great to see the progress that all the children have made in their swimming ability. All houses tried their hardest, with Norman's beating Saxons and Romans and winning the House Cup. A big thank you to our swimming team, Louise, Paul and Mr Gilchrist, for organising a super morning.

We are incredibly proud of Jack in Elgar class. At the mere age of 10, Jack has sat his Maths GCSE Higher papers - what an achievement! We are sure he will do very well and we look forward to finding out his results later this summer.

Doyle had super busy afternoon in science with Mrs Warman: ‘From shopping for groceries at Morrisons, to preparing and eating our healthy snacks (and washing up too). Thank you so much for representing St. Martins so well ... impeccable behaviour Doyle! Confident recall of food groups, including some of the more challenging foods, and some super balanced healthy wraps & sandwiches too; from wholemeal bread, tuna, cheese & ham, to carrots, cucumber, houmous & olives. Brilliant!’
