Today, Doyle hosted our Remembrance Assembly where we thought of those who gave their lives for our freedom. The children performed poetry about the horrors of war and we all reflected on how fortunate we are that people of the past, the present and the future fight for our human rights. 

This week our pupils are learning about Remembrance and the importance of remembering those who fought. We are visiting the Cenotaph, learning about historical events and singing hymns and creating pieces of work that reflect our understanding of this important event.
